1. Who is selling
The website gilointernational.ch presents creations by exclusive women designers, selected by GILO. The seller's details (name, address, e-mail) are given in the Legal notice. By placing an order, you accept these terms.

2. How an order works
At GILO, nothing is kept in stock: each piece is made to order by the designer, once you have agreed.

You write to us or book an appointment: appointments@gilointernational.ch.
We send you a precise proposal: piece, size, material, price, estimated lead time.
You confirm and pay the full amount. The order becomes firm once payment is received.
The designer makes the piece, then we deliver it to you. There is no minimum quantity.

3. Prices and payment
Prices are those in the proposal we send you. They include the piece; delivery and any customs duties are shown separately before payment. Payment is made in full before production starts, by the method stated in the proposal.
4. Production and lead times

Because each piece is made for you, the lead time depends on the designer and on the piece. We give you an estimated lead time before payment and keep you informed of progress. This lead time is an estimate, not a guarantee. If there is a significant delay, we contact you straight away.

5. Delivery
Pieces are shipped with tracking and insurance. Delivery methods, lead times and costs are detailed on the "Delivery & returns" page. Any customs duties, taxes or import charges in the destination country are paid by the recipient, unless the proposal says otherwise.

6. Cancellation, returns and defects

Cancellation: you can cancel free of charge as long as production has not started. After that, as the piece is being made for you, the order can no longer be cancelled.
Returns and exchanges: as pieces are made to order, they are neither taken back nor exchanged, except in case of a defect or a piece that does not match the confirmed proposal.
Defect or non-conformity: write to us as soon as you receive the piece, and at the latest within 7 days, with photos. Together with the designer, we look for the best solution: repair, remaking the piece, or a refund.
