Last updated: 7 November 2026

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your data is the seller identified in the Legal notice of the website gilointernational.ch ("GILO"). For any question about your data: appointments@gilointernational.ch.

2. What data we collect

  • Your enquiries and appointments: name, e-mail, phone, message.

  • Your order: name, delivery address, sizes and measurements, preferences, order history.

  • The newsletter: your e-mail address.

  • How the website works: technical data (IP address, device, pages viewed) and cookies, through the platform that hosts the site. We only collect what is useful.

3. Why we use it

  • To answer your enquiries and organise your private appointments.

  • To prepare, have made, deliver and invoice your order.

  • To send you our newsletter, if you have subscribed.

  • To run and secure the website, and to meet our legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

Only with those who need it to handle your request: the designer who makes your piece (name, sizes, delivery address), carriers, payment providers, and the platform that hosts the site and sends the newsletter. We never sell your data.

5. Transfers abroad

Some of these recipients are located outside Switzerland, in particular in Peru, in the European Union and in the United States. We only pass on the data that is necessary and make sure it is appropriately protected.

6. How long we keep it

As long as necessary for the purposes above. Accounting records are kept for 10 years, as Swiss law requires. Newsletter addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.

7. Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, for its correction or deletion, or object to its use, by writing to appointments@gilointernational.ch. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time, using the link at the bottom of each message. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Cookies

The website uses cookies that are necessary for it to work and to measure its traffic. You can refuse or delete them in your browser settings; some features of the site may then stop working.

9. Security and changes

We protect your data with suitable technical and organisational measures. We may change this policy; the online version, with its date, prevails.
