GILO — DELIVERY & RETURNS (EN)
Last updated: 7 November 2026
1. A piece made for you
Each GILO piece is made to order by the designer, after your payment. Nothing is kept in stock, which is why lead times and returns work differently from a regular shop.
2. Lead times
The total lead time includes production, then delivery. We give you an estimate of each in the proposal, before you pay. We keep you informed of progress and let you know straight away if a delay is coming.
3. Shipping
Your piece is shipped with tracking and insurance, by express carrier. You receive the tracking number by e-mail as soon as it is sent. We deliver worldwide; if a country is a problem, we tell you before you order.
4. Delivery costs
Costs depend on the country and the piece. They are stated in the proposal, before payment. There are no hidden fees.
5. Customs and taxes
Depending on the destination country, customs duties, taxes or import charges may apply. They are paid by the recipient, unless the proposal says otherwise. We help you anticipate them before you order.
6. When you receive it
Please check your piece as soon as it arrives. In case of a defect, damage in transit or a piece that does not match the confirmed proposal, write to us within 7 days, with photos, at appointments@gilointernational.ch.
7. Returns and exchanges
As pieces are made to order, they are neither taken back nor exchanged, except in case of a defect or non-conformity. In that case, together with the designer, we look for the best solution: repair, remaking the piece or a refund. Return shipping costs are borne by us, and we arrange the shipment.
